Mar 28 Quilted Crossbody Bag / Zipper pocket tutorial / Link to buy this pattern

Today I wanted to share with you guys my new sewing pattern that is up on ETSY! It is a Crossbody Quilted Bag that I am in love with. Super lightweight, spacious and very easy and quick to sew. This pattern/sewing tutorial is in English language only. The measurements are in both cm and inches. For now it has 3 sizes XSMALL, Small and Medium, but I will for sure make a Big one later this year.

Finished size of the XSmall one is H 13cm x W 6.5cm x L 19cm (H 5” x W 2 ½” x L 7 ½”). Strap drop length is 54cm (21 ¼”).

Finished size of the Small size: H 13cm x W 6.5cm x L 21.5cm; (H 5” x W 2 ½” x L 8 ½”). Strap drop length is 54cm (21 ¼”).

Finished size of the Medium size: H 13cm x W 6.5cm x L 26cm (H 5” x W 2 ½” x L 10 ½”). Strap drop length is 54cm (21 ¼”).

This bag has a very usefull feature - an inside zipper pocket that is so fun to make!

Here are the printscreens with steps describing how to make a zipper pocket so you can practice to make it now. The main rule is that the zipper opening must be excactly the same as the lenght of the zipper teeth (from the zipper slider to the bottom stop) and the cutting line in the middle must be 1 cm (3/8”) shorter.
